8 December 2015 | Leave a comment

Do you work in technology? Are you currently on maternity leave or other break from work? Avanade is serious about fuelling the careers of women in technology and would like to connect with you.

As seen in the Guardian (If we really want more women in tech, we need to bring them back, 29/12/15) Avanade is sponsoring a ‘Coming back with Confidence’ workshop on Tuesday 2nd February, 9.50am-12.30pm in central London to support people, and especially women, who are preparing to return to working in tech.

Apply now and we will contact you by Friday 8th January to let you know if you have been successful. If you are interested in attending this workshop but don’t work in technology, please see our 2016 open programme.

What to expect

This is an interactive session about getting your mindset right so that you return to work or set about job-hunting feeling credible and capable. It’s also a great opportunity to meet other tech professionals in similar circumstances and hear about developments in the tech world. The session is being led by The Talent Keeper Specialists with a tech update from an Avanade representative.

The motivation

Avanade is committed to increasing gender diversity within its own business and wants to play a role in supporting women in technology more broadly. The Talent Keeper Specialists have been running free-to-participate open programme comeback workshops since 2014. We are delighted to be working with Avanade on this first industry-specific, sponsored workshop.
